LAZ Announces Contract with Princeton Real Estate Partners a Parking Facility Serving the Intrepid Sea, Air, & Space Museum, and other New York City Attractions

06/05/2023

Hartford, CT – June 5, 2023, LAZ Parking, the largest, fastest-growing privately owned parking operator in the United States, announced today that it has contracted with Princeton Real Estate Partners to manage 610 West 45th Street, a short and long-term parking facility off the West Side Highway that serves the Intrepid Sea, Air, and Space Museum in New York City. The contract is the latest addition to LAZ Parking’s expanding portfolio in Midtown Manhattan. The deal puts the previously closed ground and elevated parking facility owned by Ex-Tell Development back online. The site is in the Hell’s Kitchen, Midtown West neighborhoods of Manhattan’s West Side and within walking distance of other notable New York City attractions that include Times Square, Hudson River Greenway, the Circle Line Sightseeing Cruises, Pier 86, and more.

“LAZ Parking’s reputation for delivering best-in-class parking operations and transportation services sets us apart from our competitors,” said Alan Lazowski, Chairman, CEO, and Founder of LAZ Parking. “This contract with Princeton Real Estate Partners is an acknowledgment of that and the hard work that LAZ team members do every day to earn that recognition among customers and our parking industry peers.”

“It’s very exciting to be partnering with Princeton Real State Partners and Ex-Tell, a company that we’ve talked to for years but that we had not yet had the chance to forge a partnership,” added Jeff Sanders, LAZ Regional Vice President for New York. “This has been a great opportunity for us to work with these companies to reopen a previously closed parking location near the West Side Highway and Times Square!”

Jorge Brandao, LAZ General Manager for New York, called the deal humbling.

“We’re providing a critically important service to visitors of the Intrepid Sea, Air, & Space Museum, an iconic New York City attraction and treasure,” he said. “We are excited to be adding this facility to our growing portfolio on the West Side of Manhattan.”

“LAZ takes great pride in its reputation for being an innovator in the parking industry and for delivering unparalleled service and expertise to clients,” added Fermin Gonzalez, Director of Operations for New York City.

“LAZ has vast experience in managing commercial parking operations and our clients and customers reap the benefits of that,” he said.
