At LAZ Parking, our dedicated team of caregivers are committed to alleviating any stress that patients may feel when they arrive at a hospital during the COVID-19 pandemic. Our team of caring and compassionate healthcare professionals are available to provide hospitals with support service options as we all work together to respond to COVID-19. Below you will find some of the services you may need during this time.
Traffic Control for Drive-thru Testing: Many hospitals are now providing drive-thru swab testing, LAZ can support these programs with traffic control and wayfinding ambassadors. Also, LAZ can support self-park reconfiguration strategies to create areas for the drive-thru testing. In some areas, LAZ may even have surface lot space available for the hospital to lease for this purpose.
LAZ Ambassadors are trained in all elements of Compassionate Service and are available to expand duties as needed on the front lines. For example, we are prepared to support hospitals in triage/pre-screening efforts related to COVID-19. We review each location’s needs in detail with our healthcare partners and together we create a location-specific protocol for how to safely direct and assist patients.
Shuttle Services or Van Services: Mobility is our core business and LAZ has extensive experience in providing shuttle/van service for hospitals. Whether we need to transport employees from off-site, or critical personnel, or patients and their family members, LAZ can provide a variety of mobility options as needed.
We have almost 40 years’ experience with mobility services and have over 200 healthcare operations across the country. Our LAZ leadership team is providing current information from the CDC daily and we are working to provide our front-line with all of the knowledge and tools necessary to keep them both healthy and safe.
- We are following CDC guidelines and educating all of our employees on effective hand washing techniques. LAZ has created a national task force which is ensuring consistent communication to all of our front-line employees.
- Extensive cleaning schedules and checklists have been developed for each location. We are following CDC guidelines and EPA recommendations.
- Our national LAZ Healthcare Leadership team has the expertise to support your local efforts and can be available to work on any Emergency Preparedness teams/projects as requested. Please let us know if we can be of any assistance.
