Partnering with the City of Westminster, Colorado

02/29/2020

LAZ Parking announced today that it has signed a contract with the City of Westminster, Colorado to help develop parking solutions for the City of Westminster’s Downtown area and Westminster Station. Under the agreement that went into effect January 21, 2020, LAZ will advise officials in the Denver suburb as they continue to develop on-street, off-street, and garage parking options in the two locations.

Westminster is a rapidly growing city northwest of Denver with a population of about 110,000 and its downtown is becoming a popular shopping, entertainment, food and beverage destination. Westminster Station serves as a transportation hub for the City of Westminster and the Greater Denver area.

“We are honored to be working with Westminster to develop convenient, cost-effective, state-of-the-art parking solutions for their growing, dynamic city,” said LAZ Parking Chairman & CEO Alan Lazowski.  “As an industry leader, LAZ is uniquely qualified to help the City of Westminster evaluate and integrate the parking and mobility systems that best meet their needs.”

LAZ Parking provides a variety of parking management, transportation and mobility services to a growing list of clients nationwide. Our approach to municipal clients focuses on three strategic goals: provide parking and mobility services that lower costs, generate revenue, and add convenience for residents and visitors.

“Many of our LAZ Colorado employees live in Westminster so this contract has special significance to them,” added LAZ Regional Vice President Chris Conley. “They are proud to be a part of developing parking services in their hometown and to play a role in the City of Westminster’s evolving story.”
