Hartford-based LAZ Parking is pleased to announce a new strategic partnership with the Hartford Guides to upgrade its surface parking lots in downtown Hartford with new parking equipment and enhanced customer service and security. These upgrades will transform the city lots (approx. 2,000 parking spaces) to the best-in-class parking experience downtown and continue to provide LAZ Customers with exceptional quality service.
“The Hartford Guides have a proven track record of providing exceptional Ambassador and Security services in downtown Hartford and we are thrilled to be partnering with them to provide state of the art, secure parking services for our community,” said LAZ Parking Chief Operating Officer Michael Kuziak.
Five (5) of LAZ Parking’s surface lots throughout the Central Business District have been updated with state-of-the-art, fully automated, parking pay stations providing parkers with a user-friendly, self-operational parking system offering multiple payment options, including coins, bills, credit cards, and pay-by-cell options. The Hartford Guides’ professionally trained security officers patrol the facilities in a new security vehicle; and are equipped with radios with a direct link to the Hartford Police Department. The Guides will work with LAZ personnel to make sure the updates to the lots are a seamless transition for current parkers. In addition, they will provide “light service” roadside assistance including amenities such as tire-reinflation, jump-starts and lockout services.
“LAZ Parking and the Hartford Guides have an extensive history of collaboration and cooperation over the years in providing first-class service to the public. We are proud to continue this tradition through this important strategic partnership,” said Hartford Guides CEO Austin Jordan.
