Stephanie Barnes joined LAZ in 2015 as Vice President of LAZ Healthcare Services. She is responsible for overseeing and expanding the company's growing Healthcare Division. Her role designs dedicated healthcare training, creates employee caregiver events, and hosts national Healthcare-specific Parking and Transportation Symposiums.
Her leadership of LAZ Healthcare Services includes over 180 hospital operations, in 18 states, with 1,400 front-line caregivers (valet, shuttle, patient ambassador, wheelchair transport, and visitor management). She is the co-leader of the LAZ Environmental, Social, and Governance Program (ESG) and a National Steering Committee member of LAZ Amplify Women where she mentors emerging female leaders across LAZ Nation.
Stephanie has worked in the healthcare industry for over 20 years, with experience in hospital support service operations, risk mitigation, security analysis, and contract management (valet operations, food service, and transportation management). Stephanie also has extensive experience in healthcare master planning, construction/design for parking operations, patient/visitor wayfinding, and strategic planning. She has supported projects on LEED certifications, Joint Commission Standards, Nuclear Regulatory Commission compliance, and Patient Experience initiatives.
She served as a member of the Board of Directors of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Cleveland 2012-2015. She is currently a member of the National Diversity Council, National Association of Professional Women, and International Association of Healthcare Safety and Security. Stephanie received her Bachelor’s Degree in Communications from John Carroll University and her Master’s Degree in Security Policy and Strategic Intelligence from Notre Dame College, both in Cleveland, OH.
