Executive Profiles

Nick Unkovic joined LAZ in 2025 as the General Counsel. Prior to joining LAZ, he held a variety of positions at EG America, a company which owns and operates 1,500+ convenience stores across the United States. While at EG, Nick held positions including Chief Legal and Administrative Officer and interim President.  During his tenure with EG, Nick managed a variety of departments while consistently managing the Legal department through significant growth.  Nick also served in legal leadership roles at Honeywell and The Proctor & Gamble Company.  Nick began his career at Kirland & Ellis, a large law firm. Nick holds degrees from the University of California, Los Angeles (ULCA), and the University of California, Berkeley School of Law.
