Mike Akahoshi

Executive Vice President, Hospitality Services

Mike Akahoshi began his career with LAZ Parking in 2000 as a Valet Attendant while attending Chapman University in Orange County, CA. Four years later, he became Parking Manager at the iconic Beverly Hilton, where he discovered his passion for hospitality and hotels--a passion that would define his career path.

In 2010, Mike took the opportunity to help build the Los Angeles Hospitality Services In 2010, Mike helped launch LAZ’s Los Angeles Hospitality Services division, growing the portfolio from a single hotel to more than 50 properties in just six years and establishing LA as one of the largest hospitality parking markets in the industry. Promoted to Vice President of Hospitality in 2016, and now serving as Executive Vice President, Mike has led the expansion of the division to 300+ hotels nationwide. Under his leadership, services have also broadened to include Banquets, Bell, Door, House Car, and E-Commerce operations.

A strong believer in people-first leadership, Mike has been instrumental in creating Learning and Development programs that cultivate talent and strengthen the LAZ culture.
