Jon Applegate

Vice President, LAZ Live!

Jon started his career in 2002 with the Denver Broncos Stadium Management Company. During his 20+ years, Jon served in multiple capacities, focused on improving the fan experience. He developed strategies to improve arrival and departure, researched and implemented new technologies, and identified process improvements, in support of the global management of Empower Field at Mile High. In 2012, Jon began working closely with concert promoters, athletic directors, and event clients to solidify the venue as a premier destination.

As Vice President of Venue & Event Services at LAZ Live!, Jon leads the strategic vision and operational execution for a rapidly expanding portfolio of over 120 premier sports, collegiate, and entertainment venues across 30 regions in North America.

Since January 2024, Jon spearheaded the development and deployment of LAZ Live!’s brand strategy, elevating its market presence and credibility. Under Jon’s leadership, the division achieved a 38% increase in location growth within two years —driven by an aggressive expansion plan and a relentless focus on operational excellence.

Jon architected and implemented a scalable client success framework, resulting in an impactful client retention rate. LAZ Live!’s success is powered by data-informed decision-making, industry best practice integration, and strategic partnerships across the portfolio. 

A passionate relationship builder, Jon prioritizes authentic, enduring partnerships over transactional interactions—believing that trust and alignment are the cornerstones of sustainable success. LAZ Live! has quickly become a market leader in the sports & entertainment space through its diverse approach and services, beyond parking.
