Dane Nielsen

Regional Vice President, Orange County

Dane Nielsen began his career with LAZ Parking as a valet after graduating from Pepperdine University in 2007. Over the years, he has played a key role in expanding LAZ’s presence in Southern California.

Now serving as Regional Vice President, Dane oversees all aspects of the region’s operations, growth, and strategic development.

As a certified Chief Happiness Officer, he is passionate about fostering a positive workplace culture. His leadership philosophy centers on empowering his team to develop skills that enhance guest and client service while prioritizing employee well-being.

Dane is a founding member of LAZ’s Leaders of Tomorrow Summit, where he helps shape the next generation of industry leaders.  He is also the author of Morning Mojo, a weekly motivational email designed to inspire leaders across LAZ Nation.

Dane was previously recognized as one of the National Parking Association’s 40 Under 40 for his contributions to the industry.   In recognition of his commitment to purpose-driven leadership, Dane was recently honored with the Dr. Friedland Conscious Leadership Award.
