The LAZ Innovation Awards were designed to reward those who identify innovative ways to efficiently meet our customers’ and clients’ needs while living up to The LAZ Way.

Promoting the cool ideas you come up with every day is a great way to share these best practices with every region around the LAZ Nation.

An Innovation could be any initiative, big or small, to improve business. Many of you are doing these already. Now we want to recognize your hard work and share it with the LAZ Family!

New Service Offering

What else can LAZ offer to our customers and clients? This is a broad category to incorporate new products, services, systems and procedures. Tell us how your innovative idea was developed and introduced.

Promoting Safety

Health and Safety is a part of our day-to-day job. This award is to recognize those who have taken measures to improve safety, including preventing accidents before they happen or finding solutions to recurring problems.

Management / Supervision / Training

What are you doing to make the most of your team’s talent? We want to hear about your best practices to motivate your team to perform.

Going Green

LAZ Parking has a responsibility to the environment. In this category, we are looking for initiatives that have been introduced to reduce our carbon footprint, including making your workspace greener. Help make LAZ a better environmental citizen.

Increasing Revenue / Decreasing Expenses

If your smart idea (no matter how simple) has helped raise revenues or reduce company expenses, this is the category for you! This may be through smart marketing initiatives, optimization of operational methods or ways to reduce expenses.

WOWing! the Customers

At LAZ, we often hear stories of staff going the “extra mile” to help customers, clients or another member of the LAZ Family. This category seeks to reward either an individual example or an ongoing initiative to deliver excellent customer service.

WHAT ARE EACH CATEGORY'S PRIZES?

• $500 cash
• A trip to the RVP meeting Awards Ceremony*
• A cool trophy
• And last but not least - bragging rights!

*Team entries will need to nominate one person for the Awards Ceremony trip in July and divide the other prizes evenly.
 
 
RULES FOR "REFER AN INNOVATOR"

• Tell a fellow LAZ employee about the Innovation Awards
• Get them to submit an Entry for the Awards
• Make sure that they nominate YOU as the "Referrer" in the online Entry Form
• The person who refers the most innovations will win $100
• Entries must be acceptable. Not-implemented or fake innovations won't count!
• Only LAZ employees can qualify for the $100 cash "Refer an Innovator" prize money
• You can't refer yourself. Sorry. But we like the way you think! 
• In case of a two-way tie, there will be two prizes of $100
• In case of a tie of more than 2 people, all winners will divide $200 evenly
• Entries must be submitted prior to 11:59PM EDT 5/31/16
